You will be given a receipt which will be valid for 30 days and during this period, you can collect your passport from the immigration department after you have paid for your visa fee. You can also collect your passport before 30 days if you wish to go ahead with other procedures such as applying for a residence visa or visit visa. A business visa is valid for one year from the date of issue and it can be renewed if required.
